Stayed a few nights in the Hanting Hotel. 1st night, I got up to pee at 2am and found a callgirl's business card, which was slid under the door, with pictures of pretties on it.

780 RMB?? for only an hour?? no wonder they are closed.. for the USD question.. that is $120.00 A lot of money for just an hour.. Of course I am used to HK, Philippines, and Thailand.. Went to KTV down there the other night, went past lots of girls shopping on the corner at around 3am. I should've got out the cab! Maybe if I am really bored and feeling adventurous I'll head back down there late at night some time. It's pretty far out in Hong Qiao though.

If you are feeling adventurous, take a trip over to Xianxia lu at around 2am - 3am in the morning, its a street that has tons of KTV's and the street must be full of 100s of girls in the early hours of the morning.

There are so many girls on the street that its turned into a little market with street vendors come and sell girls clothing, jewellery and food etc...

I have picked up some amazingly sexy girls on that street who was very happy to go home with me, no payment / hardcore negotiation, however i did give them cash in the morning ( taxi fare home ).

i think there is always something going on in Shanghai so i think i cannot agree that it is the deadest city in China. But i have not been in all the cities of China so maybe that is my problem... ;-)

I've been there after post the information and everything was exactly like described in the post. In those days many sauna and massage places closed because a special team of police from Beijing is in town. Also most of dvd shops are closed. Give to River view hotel a second chance.

Went to the Riverview Hotel on Saturday but they only offer Sauna and foot or body massage by MAN.... no special service at all!! ;-(
Maybe you better verify information from other forum before you copy and paste.
Luckily it is only a tunnel ride from Sarcosa so i went there and have a nice session with # 256. She really is very customer oriented and nice. This saved my day.

Thanks for the tip - I went here last night. There's a sign over the alleyway entrance saying "Blue Dream Bar", and a tattoo place further down. Price as mentioned but she also mentioned FS was available (not sure how much). I will visit again!

I was there last night and it was open and seemed to be quite busy. Limited selection from only 6 girls in the line up. Choose # 562 as she was the only one smiling. Nice body and OK service. Looking at the clock quite often and very mechanical with not much touching allowed . Would not take again. I thought i had read in another post that the RMB 780 is for 90 mins but it was only for 60 mins. I tried to convince the door guy to 90 mins but no chance. The equipment and rooms are very nice. Close to Golden 18 standard, however the girl quality is much less, at least from what i saw last night....
