There are many bars and Karaoke places in Shekou. Just walk around. Do not pay exorbitant rates.
Going rate Street walkers- st-200 RMB lt- 400 RMB
Bar girls st- 200 RMb LT- 500 RMb
Karaoke - Lt only--- 600-800 Rmb- negotiable.
Beware that in Karaoke there are hidden charges. Drinks, food not ordered but brought in anyway, company of girl or girls etc.
What I do is when I go to a Karaoke I negotiate upfront with the manager saying I want to stay for two hours and so many drinks and company of one or two girls. It is a flat rate. Everything is negotiable in China.
Be warned that not all Karaoke girls will go with customers. Karaoke has the best looking girls. Later in the night same girls can be found in the bars or on the street.
