...introduce cow's milk? I figure she'll get dairy in yogurt, cheese and ice cream but does she need to drink whole cow's milk as well when she turns 1 or will my milk suffice?
What I mean is does it need to be part of her daily diet?

You can start her on cow's milk at 12 months. She can have milk in her cereal and stuff like that and still have your milk when she wants a drink.

You can offer it any time after her first birthday, but I didn't until my boys were closer to two. They still nursed a lot as young toddlers, and I didn't want other foods, or nursing, to be crowded out of their diet by more milk.

i don't think you should be breastfeeding past the 1yr mark.. don't start her on whole cow's milk.. start her with 2% and as she gets to be around the age of 3yrs then you can introduce her to whole milk

my 9 month is drinking half and half.. i don't breastfeed but i do mix half milk and half formule and do the same with juice....

No human NEEDS to drink cow's milk. It's just an alternative. There are plenty of ways to get calcium in you diet. Cow's milk is meant for cow's not for humans, we just happen to drink it. It isn't needed though. Human breastmilk is what she neeeds and it's just fine.
