queston? what as an owner should improve on first? girls or apearance of the place? what do u realy look for when u go into these establishments?

It's all about the girls. I have gone back to MP's which I consider to be dives because the MPA was special. After a bad experience whith an MPA, I might [stess might] consider going back to the MP if it was in good condition only on the hopes of getting another MPA, but I would leave if another MPA wasn't available (I can't think of an occasion when this happend).

One problem which may occur is if the place isn't in good condition you may not attract the good MPA's, but without the good MPA's you'll never get repeat business.

My suggestion is to try to get good MPA's first. They'll help you finance renovations.

Agreed. As long as your place is clean, don't worry too much about the finer points. Get good looking girls of various types so that you stand a good chance of having someone on hand who appeals to a prospective customer. I've dropped by your place several times, and since Sabrina left have not stayed. Not to say that girls like Crystal and Kim do not appeal to some guys, I just think you'd do well to get some new girls in as well.

That depends on the current condition of your place. Before anything, you must get it up to at least a minimal standard of cleanliness and presentability. After that, you have to go for some hot MPA's, but I don't think you will find them if the place is a dump (not that I am saying your place is, I have never been there). After that, you should try to upgrade the facilities as the money starts to roll in. Something beyond the usual that could put you in the class of HFH, IT & BP. Those are three of the most luxurious spas in the GTA, most well reviewed, and, not coincidentally, attract the lovely ladies to come to work there.

Cleanliness is very important, as is a selection of women.

I think it is important, too, to give the client an option to see who is available. This not only gives the client the a choice (if any is available) for this session, but also acts as an 'advertisement' to return to perhaps see another of the ladies.

what is this place called IT? i have seen hfh and bp on the internet but never seen or heard of IT.since i am a girl owner i can't go in to these places and see them i must rely on the website of these places so can you tell me of the web site of IT?

Top priority are two things, clean room and clean shower.
Second priority, clean towels
Third priority, decent ladies who understand that good customer service is very important to their flow of revenue. Too many ladies try to rip off the clients. The big problem with doing that is you know those guys are not going to refer business back to your place.
Fourth priority is getting the "hotter" women in. IT, HFH and Allure seem to be on top of that. But remember, get those without the attitudes. Customer service is what keeps the business running well and the above three are very very good at it.

My two cents worth:

1. Cleanliness (which, in my mind, translates to clean, fluffy towels and something comfortable on the table--can't stand the sheets of wax paper some places use, you know who you are)

2. Friendliness of the ladies--(SPOILER ALERT: GETTING ON THE SOAPBOX) let's face it, if you've got a ring on, you're there for a reason, or, as Tom Waits put it, "Get'cha a little something you can't get at home..." so the worst thing for me is an interrogation as to why you have to do this when you're already married. I remember someone posting something about Crackers Vs. Ritz. Enough said.

3. Most importantly, which probably means I shouldn't have made this third, is LADIES WHO ENJOY THEIR WORK. Personally, I prefer naturally gifted MPAs, but I have had great experiences with smaller gifted ones who did, or seemed to, enjoy the session (going back to Point 2 above).

4. Last point, I like discrete entrances (which, admittedly, you can't do anything about being in the mall that you're in because I've been past it a few time without going in so I know where you are) particularly those that don't have locked doors that make it seem like forever for someone to answer after you ring the bell. Like I said, don't know if it's the case for you or not but if I did go and encounter this, away I go.


All told, success, in my view, means making sure the MPAs know they're providing an escape and if they treat the customers fairly, they'll (hopefully) be treated in kind.

I take it for granted that there has to be some security, but I guess what I'm saying is that if a door has to be locked then it should be an inner door and there should be some kind of vestibule where you can step in and out of view while doing the buzzing thing. Front or back doesn't matter to me. I guess I'm a little prickly about this because I had an experience a few years ago when I started out on this hobby ringing the bell, waiting outside, and getting harangued and lectured by the biz owner next door who objected to his neighbour's biz and ran out to make his views known when he saw me waiting.

Having a nice spa which is clean and has been designed well is very important for 1 major reason everyone has failed to mention. Think about all the "famous" spas out there who seem to have all the hot chicks (allure, IT, HFH). The chicks seem to flock to these places, why? I won't get into the point of good management, but this is also important and again something these "famous" spas have. The major reason is that the chicks like working in a clean well maintained place. Some of the nicer spas are designed like palaces and chicks like that sort of stuff. Think about it some of the girls spend 1/2 a day or even full days in the spa. You need a lounge for them, a tv and a fridge. Many of the dives don't have these things and guess why hot chicks don't stay around long. On another note the nicer places tend to reel in the bigger fish and the name of the game is $.

The thing I notice first at a MP is the first person I see. If that person is friendly and accommodating then I am more likely to stay. For example, ask people about their first impression when they go into Blue Lagoon and compare that to meeting Debbie or Melissa at Allure when you first go in. Yesterday I stopped at Body and Soul just to see where it was and what their hours were. The lady at the desk was very friendly and even after I said I just wanted to know the hours of operation, she insisted that I come in and see the rooms and gave me a business card and a genuine "Hope to see you soon" on my way out. Because of that I will most likely try them sometime.

Was that Sande? What really impresses me about Body and Soul is that when I enquire about the schedule of a particular MPA, Sande always answer my call with professionalism whenever I decided to stay or not. I am from the east end, it take me well over an hour to get to the MP and back. I appreciate when the management would tell me upfront who is working or not and schedule my appointment accordingly instead of trying to shovel me between a tight schedule. I really hate it when a MP that tells me so and so is working but turns out she is not. And he/she would put some lame excuses like she is not feeling well so she is gone for the day but we have other MPAs here. I have never experience that in B&S or when Sande was working @ AC during the daytime.

I notice there was a discussion lately for the long period of waiting time in MPs even the client has scheduled his appointment well ahead. I too hate it when I arrive on time for my appointment only to found out that I have to wait for another 30 or 45 or 60 mins. There was a time I was ask to reduce my scheduled session from 1 hrs to 30 mins because the appointments were all backed up. Many times I have stayed since it already take me 40 mins to get there. The problem can be related to the management but sometime the clients are not exempt from it. By speaking to some MPAs, some clients would make an appointment but don

A receptionist is useful for a variety of reasons.

1] No temptation for an MPA to prevaricate about who is working or avaliable.

2] There is somebody to answer the phone and book walk-ins when all the attendants are busy at the moment.

3] If you hire the right type of receptionist, then we can all moan about how we wish she did more than reception.

First, I have to agree with Lap Puppy. Have you seen the Debbie/Melissa fan club for Allure? I think some guys go there just to talk to Debbie or Melissa and then fantasize about them when they are getting their massage.
Having the girls greet you is great at places like HFH and IT because all the girls are friendly and make most men want to go right in. Until your girls are of the caliber of HFH and IT, and I can only hope that that is your goal, it is nice to have someone to answer the phone and greet the customers as they arrive.
It means paying someone else, but it also gives another level of security, if the guy looks like trouble you know about it even before any of the girls are exposed to him.
If you have the time to man the desk, clients will get to know how your place is run, will be able to offer suggestions, and if you are a babe, like you said in an earlier post, it gives the guys just a little more eye candy before they spend all their allowance.
