Try outside any 5 star hotel - always lots since these hotels are not girl friendly and no inside service - Portman, Hilton, JC Mandarin Tongren Lu, Hengshen Lu, Nanjing Dong Lu - if you are alone Just about anywhere in Shanghai - you can find it!!

Many walking along the street in front of the Hilton hotel, and along the nearby bar street. Also many along the street outside the bars on Tongren Lu.
