So up here in the frozen north, when we hit a MP there is a pretty standard "procedure". Get naked, lie on your front. MPA comes in, you get some version of a actual back/leg massage (sometimes actually ok) about 10-15 min in you make the "flip"...a little front massage--the "rub"---then onto the "tug" or if more is on offer a little negotiation and the other versions of "fun"...

But I know down in the CR, the MP are really just brothels, I hit a couple when I was there last year ..and guess I used my assumed way of doing things...but I kinda wondered if that was normal?

So do you bother with this at the MP in San Jose? Or do you just get naked..girl comes in and well--whatever your preference to go from there to main action.....

Peter123, it's just a brothel. Most of these girls don't know how to give a real massage. Some folks love the MP's for the price, convenience, access, variety.. etc, but I just found them to be hot, dirty and rushed. That's just my take on them though. When I do feel like just going for a quick session, I would choose HLH over any normal MP. Rooms are clean, the bar is great, you can socialize before making a choice and, most important to me, it's run by a great guy who keeps things running smooth and under control.

As for massages in the great white north, I have extensive experience there and I would never waste my time on anything other then a Chinese place, unless there was no other option. Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa all have thriving Asian populations. Some smaller cities have good access as well (saw some in Winnipeg recently, for example). Unfortunately, some cities are completely controlled by the mob or the MC's and they run off any Chinese p4p competition and you're stuck with regular rub parlors there.

What's great with the Chinese is that they get new girls in constantly. The mamasan pays for their tickets and get's them work visas and the girls have to work off their debt. Most of them have college level education and many also have real masseuse training in China. They all want to get residency and most succeed, either by marrying someone or getting Student visas and eventually jobs then citizenship. I've had a few try and make me there "boyfriend" - especially when they learn I am widowed, still young and 19 years into a good career

I won't probably go to them very much ....last time had some good times with ladies from SL and likely will mostly repeat when I'm in SJ...guess beetle bar in Jaco. But like the day I arrive or if I have other day time to kill in SJ-the MPs are a good quick option during the days

I dissagree with much of the above. You make your own selection. She is great looking and friendly. You have to wait while she pays, gets towels, goes to the bathroom, whatever. She arrives, gives you a nice, tender massage, throws on a condom, goes down for not long enough, unless you told her you just want a BJ. She may have asked if you want it with or without condom. its funny that some have good to great experiences at mp's and then there are the g wiess's of the world.Reminds me of some experienced mongers(many trips etc) that complain all the girls ask them for cien and cr or other destinations suck. :idea: Oh well the rest of us should be happy we dont have all the negative experiences that some seem to have.

IMHO HLH is a lot more than just an MP. I suggest that everyone coming back to San Jose go and check out the new things Boyd & partners have going there! I tell my guests at SL to give it a try and have received great reviews!
