The future of wellness has arrived in Park City, where residents of the new Velvære development will be able to schedule on-demand massages with an AI-powered robot that delivers customized treatments using advanced body-mapping technology
PARK CITY, Utah — Residents at Velvære, Park City’s newest luxury wellness community, will soon be able to book an AI-powered massage as easily as scheduling a workout, thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with robotics company Aescape.
“Velvære is more than just a place to live; it provides a holistic lifestyle that prioritizes health, wellness, and a strong connection with nature, with access to some of the best skiing in the world, just outside your back door. Our partnership with Aescape will enhance our wellness offerings and transform how residents experience relaxation and recovery,” said Chad Magleby, Partner at Magleby Development.
Located in the development’s Wellness Center, or as an option to lease within the residences, the Aescape system offers a revolutionary approach to on-demand wellness, where cutting-edge technology meets everyday convenience. Fully included in the Club Velvære membership, residents can easily schedule sessions through a community app.
The system uses advanced AI technology to scan users’ bodies, generating over 1.2 million 3D data points to deliver customized massages. Through a touchscreen interface, users can select targeted areas, pressure levels, and music preferences, with the system remembering personal settings for future sessions.

“You’re getting a fantastic, sophisticated massage, and it’s rhythmic, long strokes,” Summit Sotheby’s realtor Julie Wood noted. “When you’re laying down, you’re in real time able to see where it’s working. You can say ‘lighter, more pressure, skip to the next section, I like this, stay.'”
The technology, which launched across the U.S. last year, adds to Velvære’s comprehensive wellness offerings. The 60-acre mountainside community, adjacent to Deer Valley’s East Village expansion, features 115 planned residences with direct ski-in/ski-out access.

For project developer, Dayson Johnson, incorporating the Aescape system aligns with Velvære’s mission of making wellness accessible. Following his own health journey after a 2017 Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis, Johnson focused on creating an environment where preventative wellness is seamlessly integrated into daily life.
“90% of your health comes from your built environment,” said Johnson. “We’re tracking the health measures that matter — the air, the light, the water.”
At Velvære, each residence has a customizable Synergistic Sanctuary Space featuring environmentally forward design and amenities, including a full treatment room for an Aescape robotic massage, steam shower, cold/hot plunge, full Technogym, and a HaloIR Sauna. Smart home features like the Ketra lighting system by Lutron offer 16 million different color options that match the natural sunlight patterns throughout the day, while advanced air sensors continuously monitor air quality, automatically triggering filtration systems when needed.

As part of this comprehensive approach to wellness, Velvære has also partnered with Fountain Life, providing two memberships with each home purchase. This gives residents access to advanced preventative health screening and care, complementing the development’s integrated wellness features.
The first completed residence, Solace, debuted in August 2024, marking the first of the collection of homes ranging from $4M-$12M. Residents will have access to the wellness center’s full range of amenities, including the hyperbaric chambers, cryotherapy, compression boots, and hot-cold therapy, all included in their membership.
