tipping

I usually tip on the higher side of things when I go to mps. But thanks to car insurance, property tax, and some car repairs my savings took a big hit.

Anyways, I went to see one of my fav mpas for a massage with a tip on the low end of the scale. I felt a bit uneasy about it but she told me an interesting analogy.

She said "when I go to the hairdresser I don't always get highlights, lowlights et cetra all the time and she (the hairdresser) shoulnd't expect me to."

Just thought I'd throw that out there since I have seen people who have experienced the opposite where they are mistreated for not tipping on the high end.

PSSST! I think WIYD is trying to say this topic has been done before! Simply put - you pay for the extra upgrades - why the hell would you tip on top of that?

Agree.

You pay for the extra services.
There is certainly no need to tip a professional sexworker.

Tipping is for minimum wage type workers, certainly not a sexworker who is making far more than minimum wage of a waitress.

Sorry I think you guys are misinterpreting what I'm saying since I was trying to be a bit discrete. What I'm saying is that I usually go for more expensive massages and felt a bit awkard about then asking for cheaper massages. I felt that the mpas might expect the more expensive massage requests since that's what they had come to expect from me.

But the point of my post was to say that the mpa put things in perspective for me by letting me know that at least this mpa did not expect to make the maximum that she could earn during the session. Much like her hairdresser analogy where the hairdresser does not expect the customer to opt for every service that the hairdresser offers.

Sorry for the confusion but I wasn't talking about tipping above and beyond the "tip."

I have tried "back tracking" on my spending at MPs in the past, and also felt uneasy about this. In order to get higher mileage, the costs always tend to escalate.

Whenever I want a more simple, less costly event, I just try a new girl.

You tip if you want, for whatever reason you want, at your sole discretion. If it's requested, negociated, agreed or discussed, it's a fee. Likewise if it's an unexpected addition to the session it's an extra for sure. But if it was ordered from the menu it's an additional-cost upgrade or an option isn't it?.
And then there are the Options Whose Name Must Not Be Spoken. But since good massageplanet.netizens would not, indeed could not ask for them, they must be Extras, yes?

I always used to tip maybe an extra 10 bucks or so. Of course..that is in the past, my current finances have taken me right out of the hobby for the most part.
