I must say I literally stumbled onto Xiaoping Foot Massage as it just happened to be handy to my home. They didn't specifically tell me to drape so I didn't and the rest is history. I'm a little slow about "communicating without communicating" but I'm totally in the dark about tipping. Is it like tipping a waitress- 15%? Is there an unspoken minimum? How much do these women make per hour/massage? Will they starve without tips? I noticed guys tipping $5 so I've been tipping $10 to be generous. The MT always says "Thank you" with no indication they were expecting more or less. Do I tip before the massage begins or after? If I give a generous ($??) tip before the massage begins does that communicate my expectations? I'm SO confused...
