I know I'm opening a can of worms with this post. Those who are offended by it are the guilty parties. At one point this forum was a great source of information about the spas and their staff. Now it seems to have been hijacked by some select players and it's become much ado about nothing. Here is one explanation.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism.

Symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and how severe they are can vary. People with the disorder can:

Have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration.

Feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment.

Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements.

Make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are.

Believe they are superior to others and can only spend time with or be understood by equally special people.

Be critical of and look down on people they feel are not important.

Expect special favors and expect other people to do what they want without questioning them.

Take advantage of others to get what they want.

Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others.

Be envious of others and believe others envy them.

Behave in an arrogant way, brag a lot and come across as conceited.

I have no gain. The point is to help understand why the disruptive people post the way they post. My solution has been to Ignore their posts. It's a built-in feature on this site.

What color exactly is that? Your first post almost made a point, but then you basically posted a definition so I think you missed out somewhere.

I do agree that there are a lot of idiot posters on here that I have blocked over the years for being a waste of my time. Some people aren't narcissistic, they just don't have any other friends or social interactions so they use these forums.

No point in complaining about them as you will never get them to change their minds. Just block them and move on.

I agree with Tonyd3... point on being socially isolated. Since I'm in knee deep, here's the rest of the traits.

The sad part about their negative banter amongst others and with themselves as alter avatars, is that they appear to harm the businesses they believe they are helping.
