Was the Marijuana bill that was introduced on June 22, 2011 for the United States

declined? Or has there not been a final decision yet, please give as much details about this entire bill as possible.
To Quizzard, please to your research before trying to answer... it was introduced by Ron Paul, look it up before trying to prove me wrong, they are trying to end prohibition of Marijuana and tax it etc.

It may still be in judgement, don't know for sure, but I wanted to make this in regards to Joe's comment.
Marijuana legilization won't do a whole lot of evil, actually, it would do more good by reducing crime and boosting the economy. Pot isn't as nearly as endangering as alcohol or ciggaretes.

Introduced where, by whom? There is no move to legalize marijuana at a Federal level in the US, nor can there be unless the US abrogates a number of International treaties on control of illegal drugs.

I suspect that you are referring to a state law, but in any event, it takes MANY months, often years, for a bill to pass through any legislature.

It has been referred to a few committees. It hasn't gone any where. This bill ends the prohibition at the federal level and lets the states decide. That is all.

read the 2nd paragraph carefully as to what it proposes..and does NOT do.
The whole damn country has been on the brink of economic collapse, and this is what Ron Paul has time to worry about?? And the idiot wants to run for President?
