Right, so i am most likely getting a Guinea Pig in Spring (Or, when it warms up) Witch should only be about a 2 weeks-6 weeks away!! YAY!!
I have done just about all the research I possibly can. I have even learned more about my rabbit, so now, I can take extra good care of her <3
But, I think there is only one question I can't find a reasonable answer for. Introduction. I would be able to introduce two Guinea Pigs easily... but I can't find anything that can help me introduce a Rabbit and a Guinea Pig.
I have a rabbit, as you could probably tell.. and, if I get a Guinea Pig, they will live in the same cage (Please don't tell me off for it, I know it would be safest for them to live separately, but my rabbit, im sure, would love a companion, and I can't get another rabbit, so yeah..). I will feed them them the right diets, and make sure the don't get too much of something, or not enough. I will take extra precautions, and be really careful, and watch them for at least the first 3 days.
I think I would be okay at introducing them, but, I can't be sure, so I want some ideas. Also, I have discovered a really bad thing. I can't clean the smell of my Rabbit from her cage! She lives out doors, in a massive, awesome cage. She has a sort straw bedding, and loves the sun in the morning, and the light dust of rain on a warm day. I wouldn't be able to clean out the smell, because the cage is made of metal and wood. It is way to heavy to lift to clean the bottom well enough. My family and I clean out the poop, and give her fresh straw about 1-2 every month. Witch is alright because she only poops in the one spot, up the far end of her cage. She doesn't seem to mind either.
So, any idea on introducing them right?
