if the girls know a foreigner is in a room they may ring after 10pm, this is usual in beijing where I am.

alternatively stroll near or into the 'beauty parlour/massage place or whatever in the hotel and show your room key number then return to your room either with a girl or one will contact you with a bit of luck, works for me in beijing.

Tianheng is very nice and actually not too expensive. They have an in-house sauna - 800 RMB 90 mins FS. There's a bunch of BBS across the street and down those alleys, but on my trip I was more about quality and I was mostly disappointed with what was available in the BBS's.

There's also a bunch of rooms on the second floor in those alleys with pink lights on and a string of blink lights leading to the stairs.
If you've go more guts than I do, go see what's up there.
