I read your tale of woe with great interest and, I must say, it gave me just about the best laughing spell I have had in quite a while.

I am not a sadist. It is the laughter of recognition: "Been there, done that"!

I guarantee that a few weeks hence you will look back and laugh your ass off, too!

When it comes to our little heads and pussy, we, the male of the species, are such fucking idiots it is truly comical -- if not pathetic.

I am truly happy for you that it did not cost you more than you could afford to lose: honestly, I have lost more than that at the turn of a card at a Baccarat table in Las Vegas... and I later laughed just as hard about that, too!

It is, in all, a cheap and extremely valuable lesson... and even though I know you don't feel that way about it right now, you will!

Right now, you know more about yourself and how your ego undermines and manipulates you than you have ever known before! Some of us never have the experience and never get to know just how much there is to learn about our selves!

I won't claim to know the circumstances of Oh Henry's situation, but I find your thinking as a general outlook contradictory. You seem to uphold the value of a family unit ( marriage) as an absolute, yet fail to recognise there are extenuating circumstances in some cases. ( actually you probably don't fail to recognise it, you just see it differently ) The primary one being that people may stay together for the sake of the children, depending on their age.

You also seem to think that physical and emotional needs can't be completely separated. You are right in the fact that they do and can overlap. Each one by itself can be a powerful and separate entity though. What if, someone is contented and sincere with the relationship they are in, save for physical satisfaction. Do you think they should give up such a *RARE* thing and / or suppress physical needs. Suppressing needs can never be a good thing, IMO. I'm not one that believes in the sanctity of marriage and feel far too many make commitments, for social and other reasons, long before they are ready. Yes, it's a commitment, but people change physiologically and psychologically over time.

I feel that humans are not monogamous by nature, but at the same time have that need for security and bonding within a monogamous relationship.

My thought, the situation could have got worse. What if the girl turned back and threatened with rape charges and asked for more money. And People feel the need to settle because of the potential impact on personal lives.

In US, it's not too hard to find situations where a very cute and innocent looking young lady in escort business would be hooked up with pimps and organized crimes trying to threaten clients w/ various tricks. Disguising appearance is their specialty. This really hurts the escort business.

It is very good of OHenry to speak out so we all can learn.

I feel for you , Henry. Several years ago, I fell for a dancer and it ended in a total disaster. Not only I lost way more than $5k, I also lost my gf and my job eventually because I was not able to concentrate. It was an expensive lesson that I still feel the pain now as I think about the mistakes I made.

My 2c's: I sympathize with you man but it's not unexpected. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and if I were you I would seriously think about quitting the hobby if I find I can't separate the emotions out. You really need to look into yourself on this issue because the next time it might be messy. Good luck!

It takes guts to post here risking yourself to flames for the protection of fellow hobbyiests. Thank you! Many of us have gone through some form of con or another. It may be tough, but NEVER get emotionally attached to a "provider." If the relationship was legit she definately would not be asking you for money...she makes plenty on her own. Remember what Kayla wrote on MBB about the saying " ...as cold as a whores' heart." Some of these girls are dead inside already.

On a side note Oh henry, for 4 months with her 5 K doesn't seem like a huge loss. If anything didn't you receive quite a dicounted service for the number of times you saw her...and for the duration of those visits?

Well Oh Henry I'm sorry to hear about this happening to you. The damage is already done so there is nothing much to do about it except learn and grow....But.

Guys, I've said this before and I'll say it again...Loose the idea of getting with these girls on an emotional level. yeah I know its hard because your emotions can make us all do wierd shit..and yeah "MPAs and SPs are people too...blah blah blah". Heard that ol line enough times....sure they are people too buts lets all use our heads here....

This is not the best premis to be meeting ladies, I'm sorry to say....it sets a bad precident. Right from the start you are going to be a CLIENT in their eyes...you know, a walking bag of money with a $ sign on the front. Sure there is always gonna be the odd exception, but lets all be safe and play the odds that lean more in our favour.
