Yes, I didn’t respond to your post yet (#59). Your post was the one after my video post (#58) to another poster (#57) because other than a brief few minutes here and there I’ve been running around and in meetings all day. The reason is simple, I just haven’t got to it yet. Responding to DW, Stripfan, altaguetta, etc. is easy and takes as much effort as ordering food from the McDonalds drive-thru where if I order a Big Mac combo they’ll still screw up and mix up the drink. Responding to you takes more time and effort and is more like order food from a restaurant where it will be ready in 45 minutes to an hour later. I simply waited until I had time to respond.
You seem to be so hung up on CRT. Please show the community the exact content being taught in schools (and which type of schools) where they are explicitly stating that all whites are racist rather then there are unconscious biases and engrained discrimination practises so deep that people have become oblivious to it and people are getting defensive when someone is trying to bring it up. I haven’t seen the content so how can I comment on the content. My understanding is that true CRT teachings are what is being taught in Law Schools whereas it’s offshoots (unconscious biases, etc.) is what is being taught to businesses, etc..
Do I believe in unconscious bias? Yes, I do. Do I think blacks are still being discriminated against today by people not knowing it? Yes I do. Do I believe that there were once and maybe still are unwritten rules and handshake agreements in the US that make it more difficult for blacks to buy houses, get loans, etc.? And, do I believe blacks are more likely targeted by police, etc? Yes, I do. Do I think the changing voters rights laws in Georgia and other states is more about limiting black voter rights than it is anything about election integrity? And, is that a form of system racism CRT is trying to point out? Absolutely! Do I think hiring managers will unconsciously favour a resume with the white name Mike Smith over a black name Jamal Johnson? Yes, I do. Intentionally, no. Do I think, pointing out these unconscious biases is calling all whites, racist? No, I think it’s meant to heighten self awareness about how people view other people. Not everyone can be introspective and few people are because it’s hard and uncomfortable so they need some help to get there.

if you mean I didn’t respond to your post #49, well yes I did in post #51.it may not be the answer you like or wanted, but it is an answer. What is taught in schools (and this goes for many subjects) is meant to be applied to the real world. If the black population is so low in the states with the highest suicide rates, how can CRT actually be applied in real life in Alaska, Wyoming or Montana? And how can that influence suicide rates (especially when it’s adults in those states committing the most suicides and not students)? Where is the correlation that DW claims (where CRT teachings are leading to mass suicides) that started my responses to him before you jumped in?
