You know, in a way I can see how "silencing" people on social media just ends up taunting them and creating a "martyr." On the other hand, there is people, like Jimmy the Retard, who are not bound to any rules of common sense and just run their trolling propaganda machine with overtime. Those people have to be shut down. Robert Malone has a very "trolly" vibe to him, and he sounds like a bitter old man. Trolls cannot be taken seriously, or have you ever gotten anywhere taking Jimmy seriously before?

You mean like the proverbial shout of "fire" in a crowded theatre? Yes, in those circumstances we have to curtail free speech, but not in the context of medical advice in a pandemic. Plus, as I've already pointed out--IT DOES NOT WORK. Joe Rogan alone has a bigger audience than most legacy media combined. All that curtailing free speech achieves is it gives a semblance of credibility to the people they try to silence. But much worse than that, if you take away speech as a tool you leave people with no other option but violence. It is curious to me how easily people have forgotten that lesson.

I love the theory that COVID is a grand plot conducted by governments and I dunno, rich people or some shit. Then I was remembering the big dust-up between Canada and the US over milk or eggs or some fucking thing a couple of years ago. So two governments that by any measure are the best of friends literally can't agree on the price of eggs, yet governments that are sworn enemies over many decades are able to conduct this great conspiracy in complete secrecy, discovered only by a handful of YouTube Experts. People do choose not to get vaccinated for many reasons, and the vast majority of them are stupid.

And yes, I agree, there is evidence that fully vaxed people can still spread the virus, however their viral load is much smaller. Consider two people with a method of squirting water on another person. One has a fire hose. The other has a squirt gun. But yes, both have the ability to get someone else wet. Regardless, if the person they spread it to is also vaccinated, that person will be just fine.

I haven't been following him, but the conclusions he's drawing in the piece you shared are extraordinary. The vaccines "don't work and should be taken off the market"? That in itself is an incomplete and irresponsible statement. If he'd qualified it by saying they're ineffective at limiting the spread of the infection, I'd understand...but every sign indicates the vaccines are quite effective minimizing serious cases.

I didn’t share the article, but I heard him say similar things on another interview. The spike in the current vaccine does nothing for omicron, and could create problems going forward.

Everything that is happening today with the never ending boosters, the breakthrough cases etc. he talked about months ago. Not to mention the ADE.

Yup he's on ignore now. I love a good Internet Troll but not when they're spreading information that is killing people, I have little patience. In my personal FB, I have a feature I call COVIDIOT of the Day. Generally, the featured person is (or more likely was) a COVID denier or antivaxxer that's now rotting in a hole in the ground. I'm fine with that, but what I am not fine with is when these are people that have a megaphone to spread their shit, and as a result, assist in the deaths of hundreds or thousands of people.

Bear in mind, that I work in scientific endeavours and I'm biologist by trade. Just as most things economic boil down to "supply and demand", most biological things boil down to Natural Selection. Mother Nature is currently doing a fine job of removing stupid people (and Republicans!) from the gene pool. As a biologist, I understand that over-population is the largest problem facing humanity. For decades, I've joked that the world would benefit from a good pandemic. With "only" 6 million deaths worldwide, COVID is falling short. We need to kill off about 2 - 3 billion people to make a real difference. However, it's a start, and it's always best to lose the stupid people.

Some of my colleges and I regularly engage in "What if..?" discussions. Here is a current one: What if no vaccines had been developed to fight COVID? How many would have died, and when would it end? Our best guess is that it may well have killed 100 million people, perhaps more. Still a long way shy of what we need. There is a reasonable chance we'll see another zootropic-based pandemic in our lifetimes. As populations become more and more congested (especially in Asia) and where people are obliged to eat unsafe food, it's inevitable. The development of mRNA vaccines is perhaps the greatest medical development in health care in a century, but it's not a huge stretch to imagine a viral disease that defies an effective vaccine development. Imagine if HIV spread in the same way COVID does. There's no cure for it, but it's relatively difficult to spread HIV as it requires direct mucous or blood contact. COVID spreads through atomization. Imagine walking past someone in your condo that is surrounded in an invisible cloud of HIV that you are almost guaranteed to catch.

Anyway, Jimmy is being ignored. I suspect he's vaccinated and trolling, but maybe he really is just fucking stupid as a sack of hammers.
