I am surprise CC actually listens to their customers without solid proof. This is like saying I went to refill my car at a gas station and turn around and said I wasn't at the gas station.

The cc company refunds the customer first. Probably because it's quicker. Then investigates with the business as the business can fight the chargeback. This is the representment or rebuttal and where businesses present their evidence to the cc company that the charge was valid.

However, I don't think the OP is talking about one of these places. More than likely, the OP is talking about a semi place and no, the happy ending, even if just a basic HJ, is not included in the room fee. Believe it or not, there are many people that go to even a semi place just for a massage, even women (just ask any MPA that works at JR). Unfortunately for the MPA, $10 is often the tip amount but at least they aren't doing a happy ending...the OP definitely has the right to be pissed.

I am LOATHE to say but when this occurs 60% of the time it's those who would be considered brown. While I know bartering is a cultural thing there should be limits. Especially at Asian spas the women dislike dealing with first-time clients of the ethnic group as more than likely they will get outrageous offers like 50 dollars or such like. For the record I have seen many instances to the contrary but if your keeping score they are miles ahead. Though I've seen others including Chinese lowball as well. These are exceptions to the rule .

But I normally don't tip a RMT - just like you don't tip a physiotherapist or a chiropodist as they are health professionals. An RMT gets $90 or up for an hour already. Instead, I send Christmas gifts to my regular RMT.

As to semi legit places, I gave $40 to the girls even though no HE followed (on some occasions only). They were so happy - $40 represents my appreciation of their efforts and I consider tips are part of their income. If I don't have that kind of cash and find it too troublesome to go to a bank, I will not go to a spa for a massage.
