I wasn't referring to her colour though. I was trying to come up with something to convince her to be OK with Brown guys. TBone's idea works lol. Just tell her you came back from a 3 weeks vacation in Mexico. LOL.

I have a different slant on this I guess. Do not clients have preferences about body type, age, ethnicity/race? Some will only see Asians; some will only see Caucasians; how many times have I heard negative comments about the looks of an aunty? I know a few brown guys who will only see white women - is that racist, too? Short version: if we make choices like this, why do we call a provider who does racist? We don't really know the story behind anyone's preferences do we? Not saying it's right or wrong - just wondering if this is case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Once again...good point. Maybe I should have said: "I hope it's not, because she's racist." One Asian lady told me her East Indian clients usually have spice smells permeating from their skin. They are clean, they just eat a lot of spicy food. She also wasn't fond of massaging really hairy guys, and that could be in any ethnic backround.

That being said, she doesn't turn them away either.

The difference is that the provider of the service is a 'business' and should not discriminate. If that provider needed the same service she provides (but had to go to someone else because she cannot do on herself) she TOO will be making choices because she is paying.
Not saying racism is 'ok' under certain circumstances but if, for example, I do not like to go to black ladies, they will never know cuz they just won't see me. Still not right of me to feel that way but no feelings get hurt.
I agree with smells. Many people cook foods with improper ventilation so clothes reek when they get on the bus.. Can't comment on skin because I have not been that close with a naked brown person or if it is even possible that that can happen (assume it is skin surface picking up from clothes, not inside out). Does not mean all people of that race live the same way. If your great grand parents were chinese, you will not suddenly become a white man but you will probably not eat the same stuff etc etc.

Having said all that, if I knew someone was racist, why would I want to see them? Would not want to support their business nor subject myself to their attitude.

Eating pineapple mostly and drinking that juice makes you taste sweeter during that week for your session. Great when meeting up with a CAF girl who has a list of restrictions. Perhaps need to apply it here for some men when visiting.

So if you are paying money you can be justified in being racist? This is not a normal business. You don't give your name and address as a general review. Most business have cameras. You don't want providers to be shooting videos of you. Many of us do not want to send photographs of ourselves to a provider for privacy reasons but we are wanting photos and we expect the provider to just open the door to their home (many are home-based) without having a clue who they will see on the other side.

I can understand clients who prefer not to smell spices or whatever on someone's skin, but there are also landlords who wont rent to Asians of Pakistanis because their cooking smells "bad" - that actually would be discriminatory if not racist and illegal but landlords do that anyway. Stop equating this with conventional business - it just ain't so. It's too easy to label someone else as racist while being smug about the preferences you have that could also be racist and then justify those sentiments because you pay money. In this hobby that can involve some very intimate experiences, everyone has personal preferences. Some of them I don't like and disagree with. I actually like the different smells and tastes quite frankly, but if you don't should I call you a racist? I will see any provider of any colour or heritage but if you don't are you a racist?

Personally, I disagree with those who judge people solely on race or smells or whatever. But on this board which is not about normative business, I accept that people have different tastes and have no need myself to label those with different tastes as racist. Maybe others like to call others untoward names. I don't.

1. Not liking someone because of race is racist. Not liking the way they smell is not racist. I'd hate that smell regardless of who it was on.
2. I'll stop comparing this to a normal business the day that guys who hate paying up front use restaurants (a normal business) as an example of why they should not have to pay up front.
3. There are laws agains a business refusing service to people based on race. There are no laws preventing customers from going to businesses owned by or employing people of various races.
Does that mean it is OK to be racist if you are a customer but not if you are a business owner? NO !!
It pisses me off when I'd get judged for having a bit of a tan but I read all these white guys who do not even know THEIR own language, saying "there own language", "should OF done this", "AnywayS", irregardless...And to boot, they have the nerve to call me the language police when I speak their language better than they do. That is so hilarious hahahahaha.

For a massage review board, there sure is a lot of talk about racism, which is a subjective topic. The world today is very much international with many races and cultures immigrating to and from everywhere. None of us really know why other people refuse to do business with other races. Could be a bad experience that made them feel either unsafe and/or abused. Just note that various cultures view women's rights differently.
Ever wonder why in BP Escorts so many of those ladies say " no black or brown gents". Could be racist, could be fear of the cultural difference to women in general.

May it be size limitations, mutual respect, or just a really bad experience, we shouldn’t label anyone because of their personal choices in their most vulnerable state.
When I’ve asked the question the answers are generally due to bad experiences specifically where they have been roughed up.
Now are they painting a very diverse group with the same brush, yes, but in the end should we expect these ladies to enter into situations that have proven to be detrimental to them or will evoke painful memories, Hell NO!
I feel for the darker skin bro’s out there, it sucks! But the couple bucks we throw their way isn’t worth risking their health or sanity. Respect is a 2 way street, perhaps a little extra effort on our part to show respect and take things slow will lead to many more Happy Endings.

Too Funny...That IS discrimination. It is also prejudiced (a overused and misused word meaning to prejudge) because she is prejudging all blacks and browns based "A really bad experience". Hell, I might do it too but at least I could admit I was pre-judging other on the actions of one or two before me.
You also have to realize that there ae this right off the boat and those who are second or third generation. And yes, before you say it, they don't know that but if they bothered to talk to you for a second, they can get a pretty good idea of the personality in a few short minutes.

Yes, it has gone a bit off topic but not totally as we were discussing this lady's caucasian preference. Lucky seemed put off that she was called racist but yet we have our preferences too.
Well. some of us maybe are racist but so is she. Let's just call a spade a spade, not try to sugar coat it by saying this business is so different from others and move on to either reviews IF anyone here has even seen her OR...another thread.
