I took 4 years for me to understand how investment works.
If one cannot make his own buisness but one can still invest and earn in someone else's buisness.
I don't invest if I think the company cannot double my money.Hold the guns till everything is doing and going good.

Only one thing is common in mongering and investment risk
But investment is actually less riskier than mongering.Its more volatile though.

Your investment can easily easily face a drawdown of 10-20 percent but you can bring the cost down by buying more if nothing is wrong with the company.

Reasearch is key to find something that cheap today and has value that is going become expensive.

I take lots of risk with less capital. Investment style differs from person to person.

You can see both classes in attached screenshot for your reference.These are not my entire wealth it's just reference point for explaination.While equity can easily fall 20-30 percent from their high. Mutual fund are less volatile in nature.Everybody says timing the market is important.I also try to do that more important is stay in the market for longer so that compounding starts kicking in like Warren Buffett says.

I am not recommending anyone to buy irfc right now I buy stock every month regardless of market direction.There are some stock always available which are undervalued and are available lower than thier intrinsic value.Check my 3rd last paragraph to your post you will understand what I am talking about.If some stock has given 100,200,400 -500 percent and is trading at 52 week high doesn't mean it won't go up from there sometimes it's still undervalued and attracting investor's.examples are ircon international,Rvnl,Jupiter wagons titagarh wagons,railtel,PFC,PFC ,centum electronics and many more.I have found a multibagger inside a vande Bharat train journey recently.You have to find the real value of stock.

You must be thinking i am gone crazy but there are several multibaggers available at 52 week low too.

They have potential to revive with the economic growth.
This style of investment is called distressed investment.

Few examples that could become or are multibaggers.

1.I bought Irb ifra at 32 recently in September 2023 it is 2x as of now.

2.Mangalam industrial finance bought become 2x down 60 percent again after announcing and cancelling right issue.Still available at attractive levels.

3.Longspur international no fundamentals nothing can be seen on the charts.But it has recently done a preferential issue of shares at 20rs CMP 5.73.

4.PVP VENTURES AT 30 CMP is already 15 x from 2019 penny levels.i find it attractive in real estate sector.

Everybody has different profile, requirements and appetite.I am in difficult situation ATM I need 1-2 crores bare minimum in 3-5 years.Its not unreasonable want I need that I am 29 my personal expenses bare minimum .Its uncalled situation I am in.I don't have much skills or knowledge to exponentially increase my income to gain that sort of wealth in short period of time .
What I have two unique skills of taking risk and confidence of getting work done.

One cannot make wealth by investing after deducting personal expenses and daily expenses.You invest first and keeping aside for daily expenses .

Mutual fund is safe asset but it is not going to make you any wealth if you not going hold for very long term and let the compounding work.It requires a decent chunk of SIP IF going for 3k -5k stop it rather improve your skills to improve income instead.

I did lump sum investment in COVID of around 10 lakh.My requirements and risk appetite was different back then.
There is no transperancy.You are getting 12-20 percent with a pooled fund.Fund can stop lumpsun whenever they want.Fund can do ghotala (Axis mutual fund did it .

If I want 12 percent i can just go to some to credit society or company and make fd and give them loan instead

Rather than mutual fund i would rather go for nifty bees or simple index funds which is guaranteed to not go zero and will double in 5-7 year horizon

But equity is different ball game altogether there several sector tailwinds and headwinds since COVID 19 India growing economy on growth path . Even our economy Might even become 3x. Several multibaggers available waiting to be discovered.

It's a win situation for you not sure about the escort though.They don't have a legitimate source of income documented anywhere and i doubt they file itr at some time they will get notice if do high value transaction.One of my relative has a got a itr notice for petty mistake.

Atleast give 3years.Earnings might even take 3 years to reflect in stock price.
Keep trading and investment seperate.Dont regret i bought elecon engineering sold it after making 10x now it's 27x.
