Hello everyone !! First time poster. I have enjoyed this forum for quite awhile now. Thanks to all the poster's !!
I had a similar issue a quite a few years back. Was in pain and discomfort for over a year before I was able to get in to see a specialist. He did more tests, found nothing wrong, and came up with changing my diet. He recommended laying off of spicy foods, and COFFEE was the main problem. I am a big coffee drinker after quitting drinking for over 24 years now.
There is something in the coffee bean that aggravates the prostate. He said it is not so much the caffeine but something else in coffee beans that will enlarge the prostate. Anyway, after a couple weeks of no coffee I noticed an improvement. Problem solved with something as simple as a diet change. I still drink coffee and will have flare ups when I over do it. I will have to stop drinking coffee for a few days and things will get back to normal.
Hope this helps !! Give it a try. Can't hurt anything with something as simple as a diet change.
