I'm going to have to agree with hondablaster on his opinions on Chicanas. They are NOT very accessible even to a guy like me who IS Latino (I don't look like a "typical" Latino though. I get confused for being White or Jewish all the time). They're mostly into hip-hop (which I can't stand) and thuggish looking cro-magnon types (which I'm not). Anyway, I gave up on these girls a LONG time ago.

Fortunately, we have a lot of girls here in LA from the "old country", as it were. And these girls are very easy to speak to and easy to hook up with. It helps to have at least some knowledge of Spanish and a sense of humor. Most "paisa" girls are easy to make laugh and even an otherwise lame double-entendre or pun will have them rolling. I also have a kind of hook with them because I speak Spanish with a strong Chilean accent (my family is from Chile). As soon as I say anything they smile and begin telling me how much they like my accent and off we go! I love girls from "back home" because they are very kind and sincere and treat you like a king. And man can these girls cook!

White and Asians on the other hand are very cold and distant in comparison. It seems like you have to work so hard for so little. I've been out with white girls and they're OK but nothing to write home about. They lack that warmth of character that Latinas have. Same goes for the Asian girls. They just seem to be interested more in money and social position than anything and I've found them to be generally very superficial.

So for me, "paisa" girls are the best. Just be warned that if you are NOT a Latino, it may be more difficult for you to hook up as these girls (with some exceptions) tend to stick with their kind. These girls tend to think of American white guys as being dull so you white dudes out there better show these girls how wrong that stereotype is if you want to hook up!

As I've mentioned in one of the other posts here, I'm over 60, retired from 20 plus years in the Navy and have traveled all over the world (both from Navy travel and business travel and also vacations). Basically, I like people and it makes absoutely no difference to me what a person's background is. I'm drawn more to the personality of a person. But my favorite culture is Mexico for the reasons I've mentioned.

Having said that, I generally agree with Swamp's assessment: we'll usually get what we're expecting to get. Generally, I'm drawn to the chicas. But I can't say that I don't find others interesting. I just enjoy the Mexican culture. It's definitely more fun than what I grew up with in the Midwest. There are also people of every culture whose personality is not attractive, as we all find. That's just the way life is. To each his own. Man, wouldn't you hate to live in a culture where life partners are selected by the family!!

You guys are crazy im half white half mexican I lived on a farm in indiana till i was 18 i had cows and goats. I look 100% white act caucasion and feel caucasian right down to the food I eat and the politics im into. So i can see it from both sides (well for the most part) I have found the majority of latinas to be materialistic, boring, and lifeless. and unrealistic with money/jobs/lifestyles. Including my mom. For one thing, a Mexicana is "white", but if you're referring to a girl whose herieforum.xxxe is Northern European "anglo", I've had lots of both (and am currently married to a Mexicana). My experience is that the heat generated is in response to the guy, no matter what the girl's herieforum.xxxe is. Maybe you're more into the chicas, so you get more of a response from them?

My experience with Mexico is that it's a colorful, vibrant country and the people are passionate about their lives (i.e., music, food, art, family and friends.....and lovers).
