lads lads lads..... there are quite a few "Moon" Bars in patong, maybe others eleswhere too but i dont know about them.

There is one on Bangla Road, there is one in soi Sea Pearl off of Sawadirak Road, and there is one under the Tiger Nightclub.

There are more but i cant remember them now.

Mrs Moon, she also has some rooms to let out at reasonable prices, I was there all last December, they were about 500 Baht a night. Ok it aint the ritz, but what do you expect, they're cleaned everyday, and you've got nice shower, cable telly, fridge and A.C. etc. These rooms are up behind the hospital way. About 5 minutes walk from the rooms to the hospital and then another 5 down to the beach at the end of sawadirak road.

The only grumble about these rooms is, if you dont fancy going out some nights for some strange reason, then its hard to sleep as theres thai karaoke banging out couple of times a week next door from some wanky thai pub.

Mrs Moon though, lovely lady, a moneymaking type, she is a successful entrepeneur of the bargirl world. I say fairplay to her.

Hi every one,
yes St george you are right that photo is the Moon bar on Bangla Rd & yes at the back of Tiger Soi is another Moon bar run by a gay guy called Khorn, they (the girls) sometimes tease him as pop corn.
His uncle (joe nut) doesnt his parents love him lol, owns that bar as well the Joe Nut threelegs bar in the sea pearl plaza.
Ive just come back from LOS for a weeks time out break. they were terrific host & will be going back to meet up with them.
So fellow kiwi steve they are a good bunch running the bars. Show they you accept their sexuality & youll get on like a house on fire, so much so you might even get invited back to their home for a barbque too. Mention my name Stewart the kiwi & you are my friend, ill be interested to know their reactions.

The Moon Bar in Bangla is the same bar, with the same crazy girls, that used to be located in Soi Seapearl. Now there is a sale-office for new town-houses that are supposed to be built over there. As far as I know all the bars over there have to close with in the end of this year. Guess it depends on if they manage to sell the new houses. I`ve heard rumors about the owner wanting 9 million bath for the houses. There will be 3 floors with room for a bar or a small shop downstairs. Way to expensive if you ask me.......
