So what's the truth ? You don't close for no reason and there have been no renovations, so they did not close to renovate, so the logical conclusion was the joint shut because it fell foul of the licensing regulations. But because of STD's ? I would have thought that they would have permanently shut them down for that.

'Under the Massage Establishments Act, every masseuse must be cleared by the Police Licensing Division before they can work in an establishment licensed under the Act.

'For non-Singaporeans, work permits have to be issued by the Ministry of Manpower before police will consider the application.'

So the girls would have been checked before they could start work. But I wonder if the girls had work permits to begin with. If they got caught working then there would have been problems.

If they have not, for all those criticising me, please tell the boss to read this thread

Till now, the boss has not explained why the joint has to be closed for business for full 6 weeks.

(a) If he said it's due to "renovation" as what he claimed previously, please ask him to point to us which part, which corner of AL*** is renovated. If he cannot prove, then tell us why he must lie in the first place.

(b) If the boss said it's due to sending the girls for upgrading, please ask him to tell us why he cannot send in batches so that business can still continue. Even if he has sent the girls for upgrading courses, he must explain to us why many of these girls are no longer working now and have to be replaced with new girls

(c) If the boss said he needs to close down for 6 weeks and loses 100K in revenue due to Government new regulation laws, ask him to post that clause or law here.

If it's (c), and he can provide the clause here, I'll start a fund raising campaign to raise money to help him to sue the AV/Government. It cannot be only AL*** is affected and all the other joints are not affected.

If it's not something "dirty" and cannot be shared, why the boss still remain silent on why his joint has to stop business for a full 6 weeks.

Please explain. See who's telling the truth.

Can see that he is very desperately to bring down this joint with all the negative comments but without any concrete proof/fact at all.
