Businesses have set up signs, assigned employees at the door to limit capacity and enforce mask wearing inside while placing hand sanitizers virtually everywhere. Unless they've had an outbreak, there's no reason to shut them down to prevent the spread of the virus because the social distancing measures in their establishment were already put forth to help prevent the transmission. Why waste their time having to set all these ground rules only to take everything away from them?!
I agree with what was said in today's leaked document from Doug Ford's fall preparedness plan. It's more logical for the government to enact targeted restrictions on more vulnerable organizations and communities rather just force everyone to close shop. Even a little rollback of our reopening stages would be fine but for anyone to be pushing for a pre-Stage 1 shutdown like last March is pure insanity. It should only be considered a last resort.
