I think their rationale is that they didn't want to go too far right away, so at first they are focusing on more crowded businesses because that's where the transmission risk is higher. Personal care settings are lower risk, and the govt pretty much pretends that MPs don't exist and just lumps then in with personal care.

Agree - they're probably going to have their hands full putting down the pdd (hopefully just a few) uprising at restaurants/bars/nightclubs come Wednesday, so I think spas will be able to slide under the radar for the time being.

After all, conservatism 101 is less government is the best government, so hopefully, Ford let the good times keep rolling at our spas

Same as anywhere… been 2 bars & restaurants, can’t control next table … but if yer both vx, risk= really small…

… almost all transmission= via droplets in air, not contact… so that dude who came in & was infectious… if u stay away f/ him (whatthehell, yer not going NEAR another dude), then u should b gd!

Many ppl nvr get sick f/ COVID & don’t transmit… others don’t get sick but they’re carriers… Once u get vx, odds increase u=like that… & ofc much less chance u get really sick… … & even carriers get over it quickly…

If both vx, yer risk= really small… so it’s worth finding girls that are vx…

So I called Perla and to the earlier posters point, their response was “we can’t disclose the vaccination status of our girls” and that “I would have to ask them at my appointment”. I then asked them if I can back out of an appointment after finding out the vaccination status and their response was “no, you wouldn’t get a refund”. This doesn’t make sense at all haha

Now that we know that vaccinated people can get covid and spread it, if you are vaccinated why does it matter if the girl is vaccinated or not? Isn't what is important that you are protected from serious illness and hospitalization by being vaccinated and not the status of the other person since anyone can spread the virus?

Actually their response about not disclosing their employees status is not surprising. Up until recently this information was between the person and their medical support. Now people are being asked to share this with their employers with the understanding that it is kept confidential between the employer and the employee. If the employee wishes to disclose this information that is their right but the employer should not disclose this to anyone.

As for the second part about no refunds, well, that is up to the business to decide how they wish to handle. I would say people can then decide if they wish to frequent establishments with a no refund policy regarding this item.

I would guess the percentage of girls vaccinated at Premier is about the same or slightly higher than the Ontario average. Slightly higher since there is a lot more close contact situations and the girls might want to take more precautions. I asked an mpa @ Premier recently about it and she said she was vaccinated but wasn’t sure of the others as they don’t talk about it as it’s a sensitive subject.

I would guess Seduction vaccination rate might be below the Ontario average although you might be better off asking their HPV vaccination status instead. Given other discussions around Seduction’s services I’d guess the girls are more risk takers than Premier.

from what I read, employees of establishments will not be required to provide proof of vaccination - yet
Just guests - and believe it, there will be spot checks - pretty simple to do - ask the client for vacc status, dont get it, slap them with fines. Restaurants wont risk it - getting people kicked out and losing the meal money, then getting fined. Since brampton hates MPs, I assume Brown will go after them to shut them down
