So does that mean, there IS medical check requirement in Vaughan, but NO medical check requirement in Brampton?

.. last year.. the medical form used to be 2+ pages long including testing information, chest x-rays, etc. They have shortened it now so that the doctor only checks it off.

The new Brampton bylaw looks identical to Vaughan's bylaw with the exception of asking for identification. I had thought that Vaughan's previous city lawyer had gone to mississauga, but maybe I was wrong, maybe he went to Brampton. I would assume that if the bylaw is following everything including hours, the medical form would possibly be the same. However, right now there are many spas to my understanding, in Brampton that fall under the old bylaw.. so who knows.

What I don't understand is.. you guys read this thread... post to it.. but when you guys go and see the girls at any spa.. you ask for more mileage?? When a girl does not allow this type of slide.. or DATY or DFK.. etc.. you post a review on the girl stating that she is low mileage and suggest for others to stay away?

Personally.. I feel that kind of slide is a little too close for comfort especially without any type of protection. I assume since it happens right 'under my nose' then I'm not doing my job very well

If you get a P-slide and that's what you want then great. If not then you can always decline it and enjoy the rest of the massage (it's not like the girls are forcing high mileage on us and we are tied down). Realistically the only way you are going to get a STD from a MPA is with the P-slide and if you aren't prepared to accept the risk don't get one (but lets stop fooling ourselves - none of us are gonna quit for any length of time because a hobbyiest posted he got a STD - you need a substitute outlet). No one can ascertain the exact risk level of the P-slide, but chances are it's not that great, and if the girls can pass annual checkups for STD's and many of them have been working at MP's for over a year then that should tell you something. If this by-law is strictly enforced then it tells you that either the girl doesn't perform P-slides or the risk of getting a STD from a P-slide isn't that great (or at least getting an incurable STD but still I have trouble believing some of the elite girls would offer it if they kept getting STD's). Either way the MPA's perform more massages in a year than most hobbyiests can afford in a lifetime so it means that you have nothing to really worry about when you get a massage from that girl. So instead of getting your panties in a bunch and going on about how you are gonna quit and pointing fingers at places on your way out, just keep what I said in mind, and do your own risk assessment/analysis about whether or not certain services are worth it for yourself and proceed about your hobby from there.

I don't know if himindedlowlife is a known poster or not and it really does not matter. He is a very angry man which leads me to believe that his condition is real.
The ladies that we see are in an elevated risk category simply because they have multiple partners and hobbyists are in an elevated risk category for the same reason. If you don't want to take the risk get out. If you are going to stay in then you can take steps to reduce your risk such as eliminating direct contact. Use protection. Another way is to select a facility and a lady that is as concerned and informed as you are. As an example the top end spas do not tolerate IV drug use which would further elevate the risk category of their attendants. You may think that yearly testing is too long but at least the attendant sees and talks to a doctor before they start and the managers of these places are informed and supportive. Because these places are more expensive the clientele tends to be better informed as well. It's not perfect but it is one way to manage your exposure. As I said if you can't take the risk abstain.
