While I was in the army in Thailand when the US drug enforcement agency DEA was hunting for 2 biggest drug dealers Khun Sa and Lao Si Han at Golden triangle area, the Thai government knew it all along where they were and they even gave him a well protected mansion in Bangkok. Their strategy was why should they kill the golden goose which was giving them golden eggs..lol. That time the Thai govt was getting lots of money, arms and helicopters free from DEA to track those two drug dealers down.
