BTW, if you haven't seen Victoria aka Olivia at Ellagance and I&U, go try her out today, She is one of the best in business. Judy aka Tiffany today is also very good. Can't go wrong with either one.

I guess the Woodbine Wellness Centre spa owner might not be happy about promoting other spas on her paid thread, but c'est la KJ vie.

The massage therapist population is also undergoing a shift. Many work in multiple spas and under different names which is very confusing. It would be much simpler for them to retain one name across all spas. Some are now self-advertising which further reduces their dependence on a particular spa. Of course, this is way more work for them and most won't do it. Lots of independents out there already to compete with. But why make it difficult for a therapist's efforts to make money by overloading the topic of poaching as a problem?

Loyalty is slowly being re-defined. The spa does not own the therapist. Many share therapists today. The selling point is the popularity of the therapist (hinted above and taking advantage of the association of the other spa)
A therapist traveling to a cross-town spa makes it easier for their clients to visit. eg. The therapist in the East drives West to have 5 clients/regulars see them versus 5 clients driving East. More options over a broader geography. Of course this applies only to therapists with cars or are willing to pay Uber.

Sharing therapists provides variety. A complaint I've read is hobbyists drop going to the spa over time because they lose interest seeing the same therapist. Some like seeing the same, so there is a counter-argument. Variety does expand the spa's offering.

Perhaps one needs to ask the Spa owners if they mind. Spas are limited by their location, if anything improving the facility and services to attract the therapist might be a better use of their time. Retaining an employee is ideal as it's expensive to train a new one, and although they may need to share, it's better than losing them altogether.

I have worked at I&U and Hot Rock a while back and I have never seen any customer from I&U at Hot Rock,and vice versa, and now at Woodbine Wellness. Most I&U customers are from Markham , Scarborough, Whitby, Oshawa areas in the east end. Most customers at HR and WW are from Richmond Hill, Aurora, Thorn Hill, Newmarket. I doubt any Ellagance customers from Vaughan and west end will come all the way down to Mkham where they have lots of selections out west. My main goal is to let members know who they are and where they also work and let them pick a place where they're more convenient with..

BTW.... Tina is still asleep or already busy in the room. She hasn't post today's schedule yet.
