Close to the elevator means people entering and exiting the elevator can see all the activity at the unit right near the elevator itself. Its not the best place to be and so many incalls dont like that type of spot.

For example, CatherineTOG isnt in a unit just off the elevator. Alice isnt in a unit just off the elevator. Angela isnt in a unit just off the elevator. Very few of the incall houses are just off the elevator. In my experience, its very uncommon because it invites too many eyes.

Not really. In those days Toe88 and Moonwaiting are major players and they got the first crack to pick girls imported by two Korean recruiting agencies ran by Jay and Michael. Korean girls prefer working at MW and Toe88 in those days cuz they have the most regular Asian customers. Sometimes girls wait out until they got a spot at MW or some work a few days at smaller agencies until they got a schedule at MW and Toe88. Smaller agencies like Eden Dream and Toronto Oriental Steve are getting the rejects or recycled girls that are not that busy any more at MW and Toe88.
