I disagree this being the choice of lessor of two evils, amigo. Trump is the embodiment of everything that democracy does not represent. He has completely dishonoured the relatively proud legacy of the Republican party and is using increased presidential powers and his notoriety to undermine the institutions that have kept America, for all its failings, relatively stable and evolving for 200 years. Biden does not represent anywhere near that level of menace. Nor for that matter do the most extreme leftist elements of the Democrats. At least the Dems are still expressing support for the fundamentals of the constitution. Trump only cares about staying in power because of his out-of-control ego and narcissism and for long enough for the statute of limitations to expire on his numerous tax frauds.

All true and I've made the same arguments, but Trump does deserve criticism. He has failed to set a good example with the masks and social distancing and his statements often do not come out with the right tone. That is an important part of the job of being President. I don't think anyone can seriously contest that he has made some real gaffers. Yes, Trump got elected because he was an "outsider", clean the swamp etc.

I already know politicians are corrupt/self serving and it's "rigged" as Trump puts it (just like it's here in Canada) Trump, Obama, Trudeau, Harper, Bush, both Clintons etc. It's been like that since the beginning. The political system created favour the rich and keeping themselves in power. If it was a true democracy, how does a small group of people have so much power.
