Having gone on a 3 game losing streak, Little Bob and I decided to check out the minor leagues last night.

A little road trip found us in the heart of Red Deer where we went up and down Gaetz ave until we found the right road to our new playing field location. Not being in our home town brought a sense of adventure and excitement to the upcoming game.

Upon arriving the team contact asked that we take the stairs to the fourth floor because management reviewed the videos of people riding the elevator and more than once had been confronted about how many teams were visiting her stadium.

The pitcher was tall and lanky wearing a tight fitting uniform that clearly showed the mound she would be working with. Although this was minor league, it promised of intense play and action.

She grabbed my equipment bag and lead me to my dug out, where my bat was quickly removed and given a thorough examination. Having approved it was of legal size, it was confirmed if I wanted to bunt, she was more than happy to bend over and let me take her in the ass when the signal was given. This was a play I had not tried in many a game

The game was going along smoothly, my-bat swinging hard. You could hear my balls slamming against her mitt. It seemed well oiled and I finally got the signal to drop a bunt down. She adjusted her stance on the mound and before you knew it I had laid down a perfect bunt, right up her alley. All runners advanced and I had a clean hit and scored an RBI

This was no sugar baby, but for a tank of gas and a fist full of dollars, I had one of the better games compared to my big league strike outs in the previous few weeks.

As I drove back to Edmonton, I eagerly awaited my chance at getting into the Big's, in the Sugar Baby League for another attempt at finding a elusive win, similar to the one I just came from.

At the end of the day, the cost for the road trip for a sure victory was not much more than playing and entertainment costs in the big league.

Maybe I should just make a career in the minors and forget about my dream league️
